The goal of the Naryn Area-Based Development Project is to improve livelihoods and support efforts for MDGs achievement through an integrated area based programming. The Project aims to develop national institutions and systems for improved service delivery to the poor and disadvantaged. It focuses on partnering with the Government of Kyrgyzstan to support rural development in holistic, people-focused, inclusive and participatory manner. Current phase of Naryn Area-based Development Project concentrates on strengthening capacity of local administrations in terms of advancement of MDGs in Naryn province through the process of strategic planning at village, AO and oblast level.
