Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan (October 20, 2008) - The Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of EU-UNDP Parliamentary Project organizes a country wide competition for the best media coverage of Jogorku Kenesh’s activities.

Eligible applicants are: editor’s offices of country, oblast, rayon and city printed and electronic mass media, independent of their patterns of ownership, including information agencies, regular and part-time journalists and photo-journalists, analytical reporters and experts irrespective of their work experience and age.

Entries for the competition are accepted in the form of materials published or broadcasted from September 1, 2008 to July 15, 2009. Summing up of results of the competition will be conducted by October 1, 2009 and awarding of winners will take place on November 6, 2009.
