Attention: Epidemic! Raids in Bishkek
Attention: Epidemic! On December 12, 2009 emergency situation was announced in Bishkek.  There is a need for urgent action against one of the most dangerous viruses.  Currently, the virus is spreading rapidly, especially among adult able-bodied population.  Youth is in the vulnerable group!

Scientists already determined the type of disease – it is called “virus corrupciousus”.  The virus is transmitted through handshakes and in a disguised form – through so called “white envelope”.  In its latent period signs of the virus are “hints” and “obstacles”.  All these signs can help to determine a carrier of the virus.  Everyone is asked to report to relevant agencies if they come across an infected person!

In this regard, there will be a number of raids in popular places of Bishkek today.  We would like to ask everybody to cooperate with the epidemiologists! Moreover, a manifest “On The Virus Corrupciousus” will be announced at those places.  And please don’t forget that almost each virus carrier (Homo Giviens as well as Homo Takiens) will have an opportunity to make it to newspapers – all of the events will be covered by media.

By the way, during the several seconds, you have been reading the first paragraphs of this message, the epidemic spread worldwide! Today – December 12 – was announced as the International Day of fight against this dangerous virus!

Note: corruption is a serious crime, which impedes social and economic development of a society. No country, region of the world and no community is immune from corruption.  This year, International Day Against Corruption, UN Office on Drugs and Crime and the United Nations Development Programme launched a joint campaign aimed at demonstrating how corruption hinders achievement of the Millennium Development Goals and its impact on education, health, democracy, prosperity and development in general.

In this regard, on December 9, special drama performances will take place in two university campuses and big malls of Bishkek to demonstrate that corruption has become an integral part of daily lives of Kyrgyzstanis’ and has been deeply entrenched in their minds.  Drama performances are focused on the fact that giving a bribe is an aspect of corruption – the same as taking.  In general, this campaign is aimed at helping people identify corruption facts as harmful and making people think about their rights, when they come across corruption cases and do not follow the path of extortioner.
